How to use the calculator

  1. Peptide in the vial (mg): the total amount of peptide, per the label.
  2. Bacteriostatic water (mL): the liquid you reconstitute the powder with. More water = more diluted dose.
  3. Target dose (mcg): how much peptide you want per dose (1000 mcg = 1 mg).
  4. Syringe: the size of your U-100 insulin syringe.

NAD+ notes

NAD+ has one peculiarity compared with typical laboratory peptides: vials usually come in 100, 500 or 1000 mg — not the usual 5 or 10 mg. That changes the concentration math significantly. A 500 mg NAD+ vial reconstituted in 5 mL gives 100 mg/mL, not the 5 mg/mL of a short peptide in 2 mL. Pick the NAD+ preset above and the calculator loads the values.

How to reconstitute peptides

It handles both reconstitution and dosage: from the peptide mg, the bacteriostatic water added and the target dose, it calculates the vial concentration, the volume per dose and how many units to draw into an insulin syringe. For research use only.

Each mark on a U-100 insulin syringe equals 0.01 mL. The calculator tells you how many mcg each unit holds at your concentration.
